BIOGRAPHY:

Paul has been in the telecommunications industry since 1984 working for 17 years in Telstra across key transformational technologies before spending 6 years working internationally.

He has worked on large projects in Mexico, China, Japan and delivered a number of programs across Asia Pacific including the implementation of a green field National Wireless Managed Services organisation in Vietnam.

Since Paul’s return to Telstra in 2006 he has been driving 3G, 4G, 5G and other key emerging technology introductions within the Telstra ecosystem.

Paul’s passion to maintain Telstra as a leading world class technology company is supported by the various World and Australian Firsts, he has had a key role in delivering;  including several from Telstra’s 5G Innovation Centre on the Gold Coast of which he is the Lead.

PAUL’S WORK WITH TECH ADOPTION:

• Paul has spent most of his career working, testing and validating at the forefront of technology and its initial introduction, utilisations and then scale into organisations.
• His innovation mindset has been developed in addressing and harnessing the disruptive changes brought on by technology and its associated impacts to organisations and society.

AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT PAUL:

One of Paul’s personal challenges is to learn as a novice from seasoned experts on how to deal with the trials and tribulations of running livestock on his 146 acre property at Traveston in the Noosa Hinterland.
